Empty in a few seconds!
Lofotteina is tested and developed throughout many years to make as easy and sustainable as possible.
The smooth inside of the pot doesnt´ allow the crabs to hold on to the pot or grab at the fisherman’s hands and the removable bottom lid makes it easy to empty the pot in just a few seconds. The quality of the catch is increased while the potential stress level and damage to the crabs is reduced.
Pots are stackable which makes for more space in the boat and that again results in a bigger catch. The inside volume (capacity) of the pot will also increase the catch. Pots are very durable and need only basic maintenance; they make it difficult for the crabs to escape.
The top entrance prevents weak and empty crabs from getting in. With small adjustments Lofotteina can also be used to fish lobster, whelk, shrimps and sea urchins.
Lofotteina is produced of 100% recycled plastic from fishery and fish farming.
